I've been working on this custom map for a while now, and I thought it might be interesting to post so you can see a custom map in development using the FC3 mapeditor. The posts are a shameless copy of what I posted on FCmaps.net, so the text might be a bit awkward at times;
Suffer city will be a 12-14 player city/town map for all play modes.
The city has a river flowing through it, and is built on uneven ground, so it's taking its sweet time to tuck buildings in and do the rough detailing such as fences and stuff. So far I'm spending around an hour per building without any fine detailing, so this will take a while.
So far I have around 40% of the buildings placed, and i took some pics as they talk louder then words
First a couple overview shots;


Next up is a small vegetable market for local residents which is tucked in between some houses, it will be a domination capture point later.
Here's a view down the south end of town, to the left the local bar, at the end the gasstation which has a firestorm fuelsupply.
Here's the garage with small scrapyard, it has one wide main entrance and 2 wall breaches, it will hold another fuelsupply as well as be a domination capture point.
So this is what I have so far after around 14 hours of building. Hope you like it so far and will try to keep this topic updated. I hope to have the large objects ready by next weekend, then I'll be taking my sweet time to detail it
