I gave Planetside a try, but honestly, I would rather just play BF1... or BF4... or BF3... or...... Basically it's 10gb of #DontWasteYourTime, imo.
Also gave Warframe a go. I'd played it before with
@JMart when it first release on XB1, but we just stopped playing it. I didn't really know why then, and I'm not sure why now. Its pretty fun, just in the 30 minutes I tried it today. I miss-understood Warframe, however, when watching streams yesterday, as everyone seemed to be hanging out together in the same world. I was fooled into thinking the whole game was like that, when in reality, it turned out to just be a public space like the "Tower" in Destiny 2.
Warframe has the same limiting factor as PUBG... Escape from Tarkov... SpinTires... Destiny 2... etc...
4 Player Limit in co-op.
Yes, I understand that we could just break up into multiple groups and play whatever, but then we can do that whenever we want. I would prefer a Thursday Night Game that would grow B2O's audience AND participants, a game where a large group of people can jump in together, similar to how we handle iRacing.
The only games, that I know of, that handles this kind of load AND already holds a majority of the community base are Elite

angerous, GTA 5, and ArmA III.
ArmA III
There are a lot of options when it comes to Arma III, including Co-op and Multiplayer. However, afaik, we don't have anyone in the community with the time to set up our own missions, or servers, which leaves us at the mercy of other's servers. Don't get me wrong, there are some fun servers, and it is easy to drop-in and drop-out of a lot of the "Invade & Annex", "Liberation", and "BMR Insurgency" modes. Long term, however, without server management, I think it will be a very hard thing to maintain and keep fresh.
GTA5
Definately a fun game, but all of the missions need to be played in an open server, placing you at the mercy of any trolls, hackers, or greifers in your server. Also, lets be honest, this game lasts for about 10 minutes of fun before everyone just starts killing each other. Can be fun, but I don't think it can be sustained.
Elite
angerous
For the time being, ED still limits you to 4-player squads, but it allows the entire group to be in a single instance which is at least a step in the right direction, imo, and #soon there will be an update to increase the number of players in a group.
My personal problem with Elite

angerous is the gross lack of any direction in the game. There is nothing wrong with an open space game that allows players to do whatever they want, but the only missions in the game feel like phony busy-work and aren't enough to make me want to plug in my controls and play, even just once per week.
I believe, however, that I am in the small minority that are of that opinion. I think the possibilities from E

are near endless, and that there could be a significant B2O Community grown there.
