I'd actually like to run the Corvette for this one but will run Aston if required. Simply not interested in the fraud and don't own the n00b cannon.

Don't own the corvette but I did have a chance to drive it in testdrive.iracing.com. It was awful compared to the Aston... was seriously going to get it because it sounds awesome and looks fun but handling wise it is terrible. Did not like it.

Surprised you want to run it... you always have a hard on for the astons.

I would love to run the Aston, the handling feels soo much nicer. I'm open to either, just throwing my preference out. In terms of driving for 24 hours though I would think the Aston is a much safer bet.

Wow last night was an exercise in frustration lol. After 4 hours I wanted to rip my hear out so 24 is gonna be a bitch. HPD's are already stupid and divebomb on ridiculously narrow lines with no way of doing anything other than botching the corner and spinning, oftentimes right in front of you.

I've a set that I forgot to post but can add tonight if anyone wants it. I don't know how quick it is as I'm still learning the track (never drove it before iRacing and only twice as of last night) but I'm running the lowest wing possible so I'm guessing it should be pretty quick on the straights.

The best part is that it seems to turn ok without snapping which I like. The only issue I notice is it's a bit bouncy but I think most setups will bounce a bit given how bumpy the track is coming out of a few turns.

The one issue it has though is there are a few angled curbs it just doesn't like. If the front tires are on these angled curbs the car will spin around if you give it too much throttle.

Go ahead and post that set, Duke. I forgot to save it before I left the session last night. Thank ya big-big!

I would love to run the 24 hour with you guys but I'm pretty dead set on running the Corvette.

Finally managed a full fuel run with the version 6 setup. Setup feels a lot better, but the rear end still likes to try and sneak out from under me every now and then.

I'm also interested in running the Aston Martin if it's not going to be a single massive team.

Tried the Corvette last week and it indeed felt pretty bad. The new aerodynamic packages should make both GT1s do about the same lap times so it shouldn't really matter from a competitive point of view.

No doubt about the Corvette. I have no idea what it is with that thing but in my short time test driving it, it was vastly different from the Aston and it was very frustrating.

As for teams Noel, we have myself, Duke, Quadro, Jes and you interested in driving the Aston. A five man team is more than respectable. Six I'd say would be the max, but I think five is ideal, in my opinion. Just because we've seen numerous times where RL pops up and we're out a driver and a four-man team, while not impossible, means a lot for everyone... too much for some drivers.

EDIT: updated OP for commits

Robin Esterson is hosting a Le Mans practice this Saturday at 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm Eastern. I'm not sure I'll make it... might be able to jump on near the end of it but I will be trying to get some practice in this weekend either way.

Davey, have you got anyone else interested in a GT2 ride yet?

As a few people know, I've been dealing with a knee injury for quite a while now (primarily why I've spent maybe 2 hours on iracing in the past month), but I'm at a point now where I can generally sit and do some driving and not really pay for it until much later. I'm trying to ramp up my practice so that I am doing a bit of driving every day or two and I'd really like to try to be ready for LM24 in a GT2 (I won't drive it in anything else).

If a ride doesn't form, I won't lose any sleep about it, but if you have any one else interested and want to make this happen, let me know and I can help get it rolling. I might know two guys interested in it as well (one of whom is in Aus which would give extra coverage for the crazy hours), but as yet I haven't talked to them about confirmations because I wasn't really sure myself, but it looks like if this will happen at all, we'll need to get the ball rolling by this weekend.

If you spent a little less time on your knees Justin you wouldn't have these problems :p

@QuadroMan1, do you have a setup to share or are you still using my original?
