Elite: Dangerous CMDR names (2015-16)

Our CMDR names may be different to our B2O names so let's identify ourselves along with a short description or our current objectives and ships owned;

Objectives:

Currently progressing through the Imperial Navy ranks in a Cobra MKIII to obtain Baron rank and finally get me the Imperial Clipper ship. Then off to trade my way to a Lakon - 9 and outfit myself an ASP to go exploring and do my bit for Universal Cartographics First stop - the Galactic Core

Update: Enjoyed flying my Clipper around for a long time before upgrading to my Anaconda. Never made it to the core! The Type-9 is confirmed to be an absolute pig to fly! Currently ranking up my fighter pilot and combat rank in the hazres at Ruchbah.

Current ships:

Fully A class engineered Anaconda "H.M.S. Limiting Factor" armed to the teeth and with additional fighter bay. Still terrified of asteroids due to ridiculous re-buy.

Current location:

HIP 69518, and surrounding Alliance space, if I'm not out on a huge (rare) trade goods run. Always ring before visiting


Objectives:

After being disappointed by Federal corruption, I moved over to a far away Alliance system; HIP 69518. It is a low visited area, some systems around here only see 7 ships per 24 hours. After getting allied with the local Alliance faction, and mapping out all surrounding systems, I'm now working on getting allied with 13 surrounding Alliance factions that can be reached within 1 jump from my home base.

I'm a trader at heart, and I will do all kinds of legal trades, sometimes a bit less legal if it helps the local Alliance faction. Sometimes I explore a bit on the side, and mining is still on my to do list. I'm not a fighter, but when interdicted by pirates and my shields seeming to hold up, I will not hesitate to defend myself and return fire and to choose fighting over running.


Current ships:

Sidewinder: Stored and gathering dust in a system far, far away
Lakon type 6: Active (missions/exploring/small scale trading to support local Alliance factions, rare trade goods hauling)
Lakon type 7: Active (large scale trading)

Earl Laursen of the Imperial Navy direct decendent of his Royal Highness Prince Laursen of the Empire and whom was also Elite of the Pilot Federation. Its a Lot to live up to but Earl Laursen is fighting hard to make the Glorius Empire and his ancestors proud

Objectives:
To Make enough Cash to outfit my Clipper. And to basically play the game and relive my childhood (AKA Elite 2: Frontier in which I played the before mentioned Prince Laursen)

Even though we're allowed flights of 4 we can still coordinate over comms and still get to the same places at the same time no?

Wouldn't that be great if we could pick our own system and rule it?

Yep, can have multiple wings in the same instance

Four is just the limit of ships that can slave drive together. From my understanding of it another wing can target the wake and jump to that point too :icon_cool:

Welcome CMDR Peelar I loved flying my Eagle, it can outmaneuver any ship and can pack a punch with dumbfire missiles if you're accurate :icon_twisted:

Edit: Woken him up, made his way from a Sidewinder to a Viper in 2 days "
Next up is gaining some money from bounty hunting so i can outfit it with A Rating modules and proceed towards a Clipper

Oh oh there is a Black hole in the system "Maia", in the pleiades Nebula Its "only" 300-400 light years from Sol if i recall correctly.
