Kyle can you please recheck?

In my rush to disable the Sidebar for mobile I disabled a Widget called "Clear Sidebar" which is part of a Sidebar framework I installed as an addon.

I believe this is the only Widget that should always remain active to ensure no sidebar is ever displayed when a mobile user views the site.

Sidebar is now removed. Still a normal desktop site and not mobile, but I suspect you didn't do anything with that yet.

Yes, that's a very good idea.

I had added a very subtle outline to the logo but I don't think it's enough which is blatantly obvious in the pic you posted.

I'll start subtle and small first and just please let me know what you think of it.

I love that, in the recent threads widget on the right, it now shows the user's icon for whomever posted last, not who started the topic, as before.

I'm wondering is it possible to include, like before, the forum/subforum that the particular thread belongs to? I'm not sure how you'd do it, you might have to do like 3 lines so

I'm not sure how to do that just yet. I've tried all the available options and nothing is able to do that.

It may be something that can be customized but I won't know that for a while yet.

• The site complained about me uploading a measly 1.22 MB file. What is the max file size and can we increase it? I thought we had talked about that. I'm guessing the limit is 1 MB, considering after I downsized the upload to this thread in Photoshop, it worked. In my opinion it needs to be 5 MB ish.

• I was not allowed to upload an .sto (setup file)... had to zip it.

• I had a aesthetic question that I'm not sure if it's possible: Beyond the sidebar, basically below the "Share this page" widget, is wasted space, especially on really long threads.

Ya the attachment issue was brought up in the last round of testing but I'm not sure what to change it to? Do you have an idea of what size it should be to accommodate up to 4K I'm guessing?

I'll also check on the upload file extensions shortly. That was pretty low on the list compared to all the other glaring issues still ahead of me. I've actually not tackled it yet simply because I've no idea where to look lol.

As for the Sidebar to Post Content balance I've not yet fiddled with it much. The Forum stats and share stuff won't remain there forever on the main page so that will balance out once those blocks are dealt with properly.

In viewing your image though I'm inclined to think I may be reading this a bit wrong so I'll ask, do you mean actually have the responses take up the empty space below the sidebar? If so I'll have to say no, this can't be done without some serious recording that is completely beyond my level of skill.

The core site is split up into 2 cells, content and sidebar; neither of which are able to infringe on the other.

Yes I'd say so. Somewhere in the realm of up to 5 MB. I think anything beyond that is a lot.. 10 MB might be nice but not necessary - I've heard the better 4K gaming screens are upwards of 25 MB per without any compression. Obviously, I'd assume we'd want compressed images on here so 5-10 max is good.

As for the file extensions, I figured it was lower on your list. Just writing it down somewhere for you.

This I figured but thought I'd ask. But perhaps you can write a rule or something that if the thread / page is long enough to warrant it, include the full TS block in its own widget, if that makes sense?

OK I've altered the attachment manager to allow for 5.24 MB image attachments and also added the .sto file extension, hopefully the changes work.

As for altering the sidebar based on rules or forum states that's simply not possible, sorry.

Just a small change but I think an important one from both a usability and primarily SEO standpoint.

Now you can click on the Header Banner and be re-directed to the Blog at bandofothersgaming.com.

You can also click on the Header Image which will return you to the Community Main Page (index) regardless of where you are in the Forum.
