Anyone tried Dawnguard yet?

I'm excited to dive into this, but haven't yet.

I think I need to spin through the new endings to Mass Effect first. If anyone has done either of those things, I'm interested in hearing impressions.

I didn't even know Dawnguard was out yet

I'll certainly be picking it up and sharing my impressions shortly after picking it up.

As for Mass Effect, are you referring to ME2 or ME3? I'm assuming ME3 and if that's the case, I'll likely never finish it because the only improvement is combat, everything else was pretty much ruined IMHO.

I've got it, its more of the same really and expands a few of the themes, adds in additional content you can use in general through the game and a core quest line. Looks all pretty good though.

Well, I'm starting it, but I'm already level 41, and everything is so easy by now....I really wish if they were going to release content this late, it was really for high levels. I mean, anyone who is buying this extra content now already has the game, right?

Oh well, hopefully the story carries it through.

It does get to easy. The character I've got right now is level 53, with Deadric armour and weapons all with double enchantments. I found it a little to easy to max out the skills I needed then wander round with something like a shield and firing crap spells off to push up my overall level then switch to different spells or get a bow and do it again.

The only thing in Dawnguard which is approaching a challenge is the new higher level Dragons. The first one I met killed me because my swords weren't charged (life and stamina stealing on both) but when I went back, it died just as quickly as I'd kill a rabbit. The new vampires are as weak as the old ones. I've not fought a Lord yet so we'll have to see.

The added Werewolf and Vampire perk trees are cool but the Werewolf to start with is really crap and even with the perks is always inferior to just wandering around with a pair of swords and daedric armour. The only times I die really are as a werewolf!

I tried to the new Dragon weapons and they're only a few points better but quite allot heavier so I didn't bother with them.

Sounds fairly negative but i'm liking it so far but I played the game to death last Christmas and then my girlfriend played it so I'm trying to summon back my original enthusiasm.

It is nice to be back in the world. I'd left off a long time ago after finishing the main quest. I've only just dipped my toes in this expansion though.

:)

It's even more appropriate when you know that it is one of my own creations. That will give you a good idea of the state of my brain!
